Ranchi: AJSU party supremo Sudesh Kumar Mahto led his partymen in paying rich tributes to the party’s intellectual cell head BK Chand who passed away few days ago. In a function held at the party headquarters here he said that BK Chand lived political life in a simple manner and did not allow age to catch up with him.
Throwing further light on his personality Mr Mahto said that the departed leader was also punctual and disciplined and asked the party workers to follow his thoughts and ideology as this would be the best way to pay tributes towards him. Mr Mahto said that BK Chand believed in clean politics and openly aired his opinions on various issues. He said that with his demise the party has lost a guardian but his thoughts will always remain with the partymen.
Mr Mahto asked the party workers to adapt his works as after retiring from a government job for 13 years Mr Chand remained associated with Ajsu and fulfilled the responsibility which was given to him and also brought new people to the party. A two minutes of silence was also observed by the partymen as mark of respect towards the departed. Not only in Ranchi the party organised similar function across the state to pay tributes to the leader.
