Ranchi: The opposition parties in the state including the Congress and the Jharkhand Vikas Morcha (Prajatantrik) has described the Mukhyamantri Krishi Aashirwad Yojana as a mere political stunt of Chief Minister Raghubar Das as 2019 was an election year.
JPCC media-incharge Rajesh Thakur said that scared post the victory of the Congress party in the three states the Jharkhand government in a hurry has launched the schemes.

He said that for the last four years the farmers kept on committing suicide but the state government never worried for him and alleged that Mr Das was more worried about Prime Minister Narendra Modi than the farmers. He said that even the name of the scheme is a reflection of the arrogance of the Chief Minister as it is ultimately the money of the people which is used for their well being. Mr Thakur said that in the last year the scheme has been announced as even the BJP is sure that it will not remain in power in 2019, therefore, there was no harm in making such claims.

On the other hand, JVM(P) central spokesperson Yogendra Pratap Singh said since the election are near therefore the state government has announced this plan to mislead the farmers and the people of the state and said that it was an election jumla of the BJP. He said that for four years the BJP kept on making tall claims and now finally has realized the importance of the farmers and said that vested political interests of the Chief Minister would be never fulfilled.
